WORKS SUITABLE FOR FAMILY/YOUTH/EDUCATIONAL
CONCERTS
Many of Jonathan Bailey Holland's
compositions have been written specifically for education and/or young people's
concerts. He has done several residencies with orchestras and other ensembles
that have included speaking at schools, libraries, churches and other venues to
both children and adults about classical music and music composition. His works
have been performed on education concerts by such orchestras as the Baltimore,
Cleveland, Indianapolis, Philadelphia, South Bend and Stamford Symphonies. The

Based on the book by Eric Kimmel, the music
accompanies the telling of one of the stories about Anansi the Spider which
comes from African folk-tales.
